Glutaraldehyde (GA) is widely employed as a biocide to control microbiologically influenced corrosion in oil fields and industrial water treatment. It might be corrosive metal. In this study, the effect of glutaraldehyde on behavior X80 pipeline steel was investigated using electrochemical measurement, weight-loss tests scanning electron microscope (SEM).
